FAQS

Product & Materials

Are your pearls real?

Yes — all Aurora pieces are made with natural pearls and thoughtfully chosen materials.

I care much more about glow, balance, and feeling than chasing “perfect” pearls, which is why I select each one slowly and individually in natural light.

Why do the pearls look slightly different?

Because they’re real.

Every pearl forms naturally over time, so slight differences in shape, tone, and surface are part of what makes them beautiful and impossible to fully repeat.

What materials do you use?

Most Aurora pieces are made in S925 sterling silver, 18K gold-plated silver, or selected 14K gold-filled materials chosen for comfortable, everyday wear.

Some pieces are also available in solid gold upon request.

Orders & Shipping

How long will my order take?

Most pieces ship within 2–4 business days.

U.S. orders usually arrive within 3–5 business days after shipping. International delivery times vary depending on location and customs processing.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — complimentary U.S. shipping is available on orders over $100.

Will I receive tracking?

Always. You’ll receive a tracking email as soon as your order ships.

Do you offer custom pieces?

For certain designs, yes.

If you’re looking for something more personal, feel free to reach out — I’m always happy to see what’s possible.

Returns & Care

Do you accept returns?

Returns are accepted for store credit within 14 days of delivery if the piece is unworn and returned in its original condition.

What if something arrives damaged?

Please send me a message within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and I’ll personally help make it right.

How should I care for my jewelry?

Pearls are naturally delicate and wear best with a little care.

I recommend:

  • avoiding water, perfume, and harsh chemicals
  • gently wiping pieces after wear
  • storing them in the pouch provided

Can pearls get wet?

A little is okay, but pearls aren’t meant for long exposure to water. I usually recommend removing them before showering or swimming.

About Aurora

What makes Aurora different?

Aurora began from a very personal place.

I wanted jewelry to feel quieter, more intentional, and more connected to real life — pieces you naturally keep reaching for, not just something saved for occasions.

A lot of care goes into the small things here: how a pearl glows near a window, how a piece sits against the skin, and whether it still feels beautiful years from now.

Who is behind Aurora?

Aurora was founded by Vera, with a love for natural pearls, soft light, and jewelry that feels timeless in a quiet way.

A quiet working table

Chosen slowly

I start with the pearl.

Some stay on my desk longer than others —
usually because of the way they hold light,
or how they feel once worn.

Only a few become Aurora pieces.
