Why I Started Aurora

Aurora started quietly.

I wasn’t looking to create a traditional jewelry brand — I was searching for pieces that felt softer, more personal, and more meaningful to live with over time.

Over the years, I found myself continually drawn to pearls. Not because they were perfect, but because they felt alive in light — subtle glow, natural texture, quiet presence, and the way each one carries something slightly different.

I started selecting pearls slowly for myself at first, learning how different light, balance, shape, and overtones could completely change the feeling of a piece.

Eventually, Aurora grew from that process.

What matters to me is not creating jewelry that simply looks luxurious, but jewelry that feels personal when worn — pieces you naturally reach for, keep close, and continue loving quietly over time.

Even now, Aurora remains deeply hands-on. Every pearl is still personally selected, every collection is photographed in natural light, and every detail is approached with care and intention.

I wanted Aurora to feel less like a traditional jewelry brand, and more like an old friend — quiet, personal, and naturally becoming part of your everyday life.

A quiet working table

Chosen slowly

I start with the pearl.

Some stay on my desk longer than others —
usually because of the way they hold light,
or how they feel once worn.

Only a few become Aurora pieces.
