Frequently Asked Questions
Product & Pearls
Yes. Every Aurora piece is made with natural freshwater pearls.
No two pearls are ever exactly alike. Instead of searching for perfection, I choose pearls for their glow, balance, and the feeling they have in natural light.
Some pieces—especially in our Founder’s Treasures collection—are individually photographed, so you’ll receive the exact pearl shown.
For other collections, each pearl is selected to match the same quality, glow, and overall character of the design. Because every pearl is naturally unique, small differences are part of what makes each piece yours.
If you’ve fallen in love with the exact pearl shown in a photo, feel free to reach out before placing your order. If it’s still available, I’ll be happy to let you know.
Materials
At Aurora, pearls are always the heart of every piece. We choose each metal for its durability, comfort, and how beautifully it complements the pearl.
Most Aurora jewelry is crafted in S925 sterling silver. Our gold-tone pieces use S925 sterling silver with 18K gold plating, while selected designs are available in 14K gold-filled for added durability.
For those looking for a forever piece, many designs can also be custom made in solid 14K gold, solid 18K gold, or platinum. Because these pieces are made to order, pricing is provided by custom quote.
Like all gold-plated jewelry, the finish will naturally wear over time with regular wear. No gold plating lasts forever, regardless of its thickness.
We’re continually refining our plating process to improve long-term durability while preserving the beauty of each piece.
With thoughtful care, your jewelry is designed to be enjoyed for years. If you ever have any questions about your piece, I’m always happy to help.
Shipping
All Aurora orders ship from California, USA.
Orders are usually shipped within 1–2 business days.
Most U.S. orders arrive within 2–5 business days after shipment.
Returns & Warranty
We offer 30-day returns on eligible items.
Jewelry must be returned unworn and in its original condition. Earrings are final sale for hygiene reasons unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.
Our warranty covers manufacturing or craftsmanship issues that occur during normal wear.
It does not cover accidental damage, misuse, loss, or the natural aging of plated finishes.
Yes.
At Aurora, I believe jewelry should be worn and loved for years—not just for a season.
That’s why I offer Lifetime Repair Support. During the 2-Year Craftsmanship Warranty, eligible craftsmanship issues are covered at no charge.
After the warranty period, or for repairs related to normal wear, accidental damage, or other non-warranty situations, repair options and any applicable costs will be assessed based on the piece and the work required.
If your piece ever needs attention, simply reach out. I’ll always do my best to help.
Choosing Your Piece
Glow always comes first.
I look for pearls that change beautifully with the light—the ones that quietly catch your eye again and again. Size and perfect symmetry come later.
Every pearl is chosen slowly and individually in natural light.
Because I want you to see the pearls as honestly as possible.
Natural light shows how a pearl truly responds to different angles, without relying on heavy editing or studio lighting.
